Iphone 8 and 8 Plus or more like 7s and 7s Plus?

September 29, 2017
On 12th of September, Apple announced its three flagships this year namely - iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and The Beast with beauty iPhone X in its Keynote at the Steve Jobs Theater, Curpentino on 10th anniversary.

Overall in terms of design for 8 and 8 plus..... not much has changed. Everything is similar to the 7 and 7 plus except for the Glass Back that finally enables Qi(Pronounced- Chi) enabled wireless charging. They are available in ?Gold, Silver and Space Grey Colours.

The big changes are the Camera and Process- The A11 bionic chip. Talking about the A11 bionic- It is a Hexa Core, 10nm processor  manufactured by TMSC. This SoC is the most powerful Chip currently you will find on earth in any smartphone. A11 is 30% fast than a10 and uses half the power. It destroys all other in its Single Core and Multi-core Scores on Benchmark. In various speed test on youtube like with the Samsung flagship note 8, ePhone 8 plus beated note 8 by opening apps faster. However in ram management, the lack of ram in iPhone 8 plus(3 GB) shows while multitasking apps had to restart whereas in note 8(6 GB) apps restored to their position where they were left off.
Moving to the camera- iPhone 8 plus features dual camera with 12MP sensors. One is a regular lens and second is the telephoto lens that helps in depth analization for creating the so called Portrait or Bokeh Effect with blurred background. This camera combined with the a11 chip can do wonders. Algorithms work fine and most shots are great. Apple also revealed augmented reality support during keynote. New camera app also supports Portrait lighting effects. They also feautre Animojis. With the help of facial recognition, the phone will track your face and make the animals move with your face and mouth. Sounds interesting eh?

Also these devices will ship with latest iOS 11. It has all software optimisation to run with the a11. It gives a fluid experience but the major visual changes are the control centre and True Tone Display. True Tone display allows to sense the lighting in the environment and change screen colour to a suitable one to protect users eye from harm. Fast Charging is supported however the charger you get in box is simple. You need to spend extra bucks for a fast charger :/
